1 Definitions:
1,1 "Client" is the authorized person or owner of the property who sign this application.
1,2 "MR SEKERHEID PREPAID" is MR SEKERHEID PREPAID(PTY) ltd (Registration Number: 2015/006186/07) a private company duly incorporated in terms of South Africa.
1,3 "Consumer" is the occupant of the premises where the meter is installed.
1,4 "Premises" is the address where the meter is installed.
1,5 "Pre-paid Meter" is an electronic device that is installed on the premises of the client that is pre-loaded with a token for a specific amount of electricity
1,6 "Bank Account" the business bank account of MR SEKERHEID PREPAID (PTY) ltd nominated to receive payments.
1,7 "Nersa" the National Regulator of South Africa.

2 Services and obligations:
2,1 In terms of this agreement the following services will be supplied by MR SEKERHEID PREPAID:
2.1.1 Installation of a sub prepaid meter(s) at the premises for the management of electricity supply.
2.1.2 The consumer will purchase tokens (electricity) via direct bank deposits into the bank account of MR SEKERHEID PREPAID, the tokens will be loaded on the prepaid meter installed at the premises for the continuous electricity supply by the user.
2.1.3 The prepaid meter do not replace the local Municipality's electricity meter.
2.1.4 MR SEKERHEID PREPAID will not accept any responsibility for the interruption of electricity supply due to circumstances beyond its control and/or if such interruptions were authorized by the local Municipality and/or the power supply.
2.1.5 It is the owner's responsibility to diligently pay the monthly invoice supplied by MR Sekerheid Prepaid on/or before the due date when payment is required from the local municipality.
2.1.6 A percentage of the token amount will be paid over to the municipality of the above-mentioned premises.
2.1.7 As per legislation no person or institution is allowed to profit from the consumption of electricity at a prescribed by the bylaws of Nersa and MR SEKERHEID PREPAID charge a transaction fee as well as a monthly service/admin fee of R42,99 (subject to change) for services rendered.
2.1.8 The supply of electricity is subject to municipal by-laws and other legislation and must be strictly adhered to by all parties.
2.1.9 Monies received by MR SEKERHEID PREPAID will only be paid over to the local municipality.
2.1.10 The ownership of the prepaid meter will only pass to the client after the prepaid meter is paid in full.

3 Duration of the Agreement:
3,1 The agreement will commence after the installation of the meter.
3,2 The agreement will continue until notice is received and the notice period is fulfilled.
3,3 The agreement can only be terminated after having received 90 days written notice by the client.
3,4 If there was no notice given and/or the prepaid meter was disconnected and/or services cancelled without having given proper notice, admin fees equal to the amount of three (3) months vending, will be due and payable by the client to MR SEKERHEID PREPAID.

4 Replacement of Prepaid Meter:
4,1 The prepaid meter will not be replaced in the event of becoming faulty as result of tampering, vandalism, interference with the operation thereof, abuse and/or utilization thereof contrary to the instruction of the manufacturer and/or MR SEKERHEID PREPAID. In said instances a new meter will only be installed by MR SEKERHEID PREPAID at the full replacement value payable by the owner. The client will be held responsible for all damages and/or installation costs
4,2 MR SEKERHEID PREPAID will not perform any repairs to any meters and/or replace any meters not installed by them.

5 General:
5,1 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and no variation of this agreement shall be of any force or effect unless reduced to writing and signed by both parties.
5,2 Authorization: We hereby appoint MR SEKERHEID PREPAID to manage sales and control the sales of the electricity. We undertake to notify MR SEKERHEID PREPAID of any changes to the client details. MR SEKERHEID PREPAID will not take any responsibility should the details provided by the client be incorrect, including but not limited to the banking details supplied.
5,3 Meter Tariffs: MR SEKERHEID PREPAID adhere to the code of practice of NERSA and confirm that all our meters are correctly programmed as per the tariffs' schedules of the various municipalities.
5,4 Services and Penalty fees: I acknowledge that there is a 10,09% (subject to change) transaction service fee per transaction excluding VAT and third-party fees depending on vending channel used. The above will be deducted from each transaction request. Furthermore, there is a monthly fee of R42,99 (subject to change) per meter charged payable on the first purchase of each month. Where the premises is empty, it is still the owner's responsibility to pay the monthly metering fee. I also hereby acknowledge that there are also admin fees for the late payments of the invoices that are the responsibility of the owner. Please take note that if a cash deposit/cardless cash payments there will be bank charges deducted from the purchases.
5,5 Meter Inspections: Notifications will be sent to the owner via email correspondence or telephonically. Meter inspections will only be done if accompanied by the owner or managing agent. MR SEKERHEID PREPAID will not inspect prepaid meter by dangerous sites or life-threatening situations. All meter inspections will be charged to the amount of R750,00 and must be paid prior to inspection. According to the law, inspections must be held at least every six (6) months. The inspection at the premises will comprise of the charge of the seal of the prepaid meter. The cost hereof will be R550,00 (subject to change) per inspection. The owner will be invoiced for the service rendered.

5,6 Warranty: Prepaid meters have a one (1) year warranty from the day of installation, provided that the prepaid meter has been installed by MR SEKERHEID PREPAID.
5,7 Correspondence: All correspondence will be in writing and send to the client and not the tenant. All correspondence to MR SEKERHEID PREPAID will be in writing to the following email address only: admin@prepaidadmin.co.za. It is the client's responsibility to communicate with the tenants of the premises.
5,8 Cancellation: This agreement can only be cancelled with a 90 day notice period.
5,9 Change of Service Provider: A cost of the change-over will be equals to 90 days vending monies per prepaid meter and must be paid before the change-over will take place

6 Legal Action:
6,1 I/We by appending my signature hereto, I/we confirm that should any legal fees incurred in the collection of unpaid accounts or damages will be for the client's account and levied on an attorney and client scale.

7 Tokens:
7,1 The best option is to purchase tokens for electricity directly from our office.

8 Tariffs:
8,1 All tariffs are subject to change. The list of tariffs will be provided to the client.
